(C) by www.martin-liebermann.de

Nel Nord America, la neve quest'anno è stata invece abbastanza scarsa (vedi articolo "What Happened to all the Snow?

Hello,

I just found my copyrighted image “Full Moon of the Winter Solstice III” on your blog page.

You used it without my permission, without giving me author credits and without copyright information. You can see my original here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/liebermann/5278764906/

I'm sure you have done so without any intention to harm me - but through negligence you have infringed my rights as an author.

Like texts, images have authors that deserve to be credited. You also need their permission if you use their work, and in many cases you also have to pay a license fee. This is not only regulated by copyright law, but also a matter of fairness.

Images you "found of on the internet" are NOT for free use (unless you are told so by the author). Photographers and other artists spend a lot of work, time and money to create the works you use. If you just copy their work, you take part in a culture that exploits artists. You just take, without giving us anything in return - no money, no backlink to our websites, not even our name is mentioned.

I am a professional photographer, and more of 99% of my work on the internet has been pirated. Still, I ask only commercial users to pay me.

What I deserve and demand from you is to be credited properly. Please add a byline “(C) by www.martin-liebermann.de” (and a link to http://www.martin-liebermann.de) to my image. Also, please notify me after you have done so.

If you like my art, you can also buy this image and others as prints or posters from zeitspuren.deviantart.com

Kind regards
